American Music Awards: Taylor Swift é a artista do ano pela 6ª vez

Na noite do último domingo (22) foi realizada a 48ª edição do American Music Awards (AMA). este ano, em um um formato diferente, devido à pandemia do novo coronavírus. The Weeknd, que era líder de indicações, foi um dos mais premiados do evento, levando três troféus. Mas o destaque da noite mesmo foi a cantora Taylor Swift.
A loirinha foi eleita a artista do ano no American Music Awards e ainda ganhou dois outros troféus: artista favorita feminina e vídeo favorito do ano, com “Cardigan”. Agora, Swift bateu o recorde com sua sexta vitória na principal categoria da premiação.
The Weeknd levou os prêmios de “Artista de Soul/R&B Favorito”, “Álbum de Soul/R&B Favorito” e “Música de Soul/R&B Favorita”, por Heartless. Já Justin Bieber levou nas categorias de “Artista Pop/Rock Masculino Favorito”, “Colaboração do Ano”, com a parceria de 10,000 Hours com Dan + shay, e a mesma música ainda levou de “Música Country Favorita”.
